Our Compost Bags

Yesterday, the students observed their compost bags.  They were excited to discuss the differences in their composts since they made them a few weeks ago.  Of course the most exciting thing for the kids was getting to play with the worms inside the bags.  Who knew girls loved to play with worms that much?! :)

    Your experiment reminds me of a science unit that I use to do with my fourth graders. What grade do you teach?

      I teach 2nd grade and I love it. They get so excited when we get to do hands on experiments. I can't wait until we get our next AMSTI unit.
